WATERSHED CONDITION Watershed evaluation is essentially an overview of conditions within the stream corridor. It includes water flow, slope gradient and stability, water quality, vegetation cover and type, fish and wildlife presence, stream channel materials, any man made alterations to the channel, and the type, extent and source of any contaminants seen. LOWER MISSION CREEK Watershed Evaluation ---- main stream Mosquito Creek Stewardship Society 2002 Voluntary Lower Mission Creek was visited, and site conditions were summarized in a report which included recommendations for monitoring. Lower Mission Creek Watershed Status Survey 2002 by Fernando Junqueira, PhD. Copies of the report were sent to City of North Vancouver staff with a request that the recommendations be considered in preparing the contract for an upcoming consultant's report on water quality.
