SALMONIDS IN THE CLASSROOM

Students raise salmonids in classroom incubators. Fry are released into local streams in the spring, usually combined with Streamkeeper and streamside learning activities.
A Fisheries and Oceans Canada Community Advisor (CA) serves as the liaison between Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the volunteer projects.
A SEP Education Coordinator assists with the educational programs, and teachers in each school oversee the projects.
