About

THE MOSQUITO CREEK WATERSHED

There are four main streams within the watershed - Mosquito Creek with its tributaries Thain/Upper Mission Creek and Wagg Creek - and Lower Mission Creek, a tributary of Wagg.
Mission Creek was once a tributary of Wagg Creek only, but the upper half was diverted and it is now divided into two.
Upper Mission Creek flows into Thain Creek which flows into Mosquito Creek above Highway 1.
Lower Mission Creek flows into Wagg Creek below Highway 1.
There are also two side channels on Mosquito Creek - Griffin Channel and Fell Channel, and several smaller tributaries.
